LB Shneperman (at that time he was at Biysk Pedagogical Institute - Biysk is a small place in, I think, the Altai mountains; may be spelled as Biisk or Bijsk in English; then he moved to Pedagogical - or maybe another - Institute in Minsk. "Institute" in Russia is a sort of a university devopted to a rather narrow field. Now he is Prof. emeritus in Minsk, Ayzenshtat is in contact with him and tells me news and gioves him my greetings), A. Ya. Ayzenshtat, ES Lyapin, LM Gluskin.
